The Queen of Engalnd, Elizabeth, had better watch her back, because where she is going they have a habit of killing off monarchs. Queen Elizabeth has announced that she will be visiting the "Game of Thrones" set on her upcoming trip to Ireland. Hopefully you are already giddy for the picture of her sitting on the Iron Throne.

The news was announced Wednesday by the British Monarchy's official Twitter feed and confirmed by other sources."As part of the visit to Northern Ireland The Queen and The Duke will tour the @GameOfThrones set in the Titanic quarter," and yes the Queen remembered to hashtag the tweet #GoT. 

"Game Of Thrones" is shot all over the world and is one of the largest TV productions in Europe. However a rather large chunk of the filming takes placed in a massive Belfast soundstage that previously hosted James Cameron's Titanic. According to the Belfast Telegraph, the show has been  credited with bringing a direct economic benefit of $139 million dollars to Northern Ireland, and has created 900 full-time and 5,700 part-time jobs.

As Northern Ireland has grown more peaceful in the past few decades its scenic rolling hills and booming economy have proven to be very popular with film makers, something this portion of the trip is meant to acknowledge. 

Joining Queen Elizabeth will be Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh will tour the Belfast studios where the HBO series is filmed. She will also been meeting with foamier IRA commander Martin McGuinness.

Many speculate that Daenerys was inspired by Elizabeth the 1st, so here's to hoping neither Queen Elizabeth or the show runners for Game of Thrones, gets any ideas from each other.  

Other stops on the Queens 21st visit to Northern Ireland include a vist to the Crumlin Raol Gaul, a symbol of "The Troubles," Bellfast City Hall, and Hillsborough Castle, the Queen's official residence in Northern Ireland.
