Costa Rica has been the center of attention in Group D, having fought off England, Italy and Uruguay to emerge as the group leader. It wants to keep the spotlight, judging from what Costa Rica' technical assistant Luis Marin told the Yahoo Sports.

"It's crucial for us to score early in the game, especially as Greece are known to tighten up at the back once they score."

Greece is known for having a particularly tough defense following their team's scoring. As Yahoo Sports writes, "They have almost perfected the classic Italian system in which teams play in an ultra defensive way and hope to score a single goal on the counter-attack to take a lead they would then defend".

Greece is the 11-hour runner-up in Group C. It got past Ivory Coast and Japan to win a spot into the round of 16. Some may think Greece is not a big thing to worry about, but Costa Rica likes to play it safe by being prepared for any game situation.

Luis Marin added, "We've been practising shooting from the penalty spot... Penalties could play a role at some point. They are a part of the game and although we hope it doesn't happen, we have to prepare for every scenario."

This is Greece's first appearance in the round of 16, which means that the country won't back down without giving its all in the game against Costa Rica.
