Nick Kyrgios Disses Drake’s Rap: ‘Believe Me’ Rapper Declares He Will “Chop Him Right Down”, Australian Tennis Player Responds On Twitter

Nick Kyrgios is experiencing the backlashes of sudden fame with Drake. One misplaced sentence and it’s easy to make life-time enemies! Apparently, the 19-year-old Australian tennis player dissed Drake’s rap and music by saying that it didn’t help him with his game. Drake, who hosted the ESPY Awards, immediately responded with “I'll chop him right down”.

Better watch out Nick. Drake’s coming for you.

So what did Nick Kyrgios exactly say that made 'Believe Me' rapper so angry? After beating Jiri Vesely in the third round of Wimbledon, the press asked Nick what he was listening to when he stepped into the court for the game.

“Today was a bit of rap, actually. I came out really flat, so hopefully I won’t listen to that again,” Nick replied. “It was actually Drake. Didn’t do the job for me.”

And that’s how the feud started. During a ESPY conference call, 'Believe Me' rapper was asked what he thought of Nick’s take on his rap. Drake had a lengthy answer for the Australian tennis player.

“I want to meet that guy and just look him in the eye and see exactly who he is as a man and size him up and then chop him right down. Yeah, Nick whatever his name is, because he didn’t win, so that’s how he’s going to be remembered. Nick whatever his name is.”

Yikes. Having meant no harm, the 19-year-old responded to the angry man via Twitter:

If Drake and Nick Kyrgios did get into a fight, Nick will probably come out on top. The guy is a professional athlete, after all.
