EXO's Tao Suffers Foot Injury Filming 'Law Of The Jungle'

EXO's Tao has suffered a foot injury during his recent filming for the SBS show "Law of the Jungle."

According to KoreaBoo, Tao injured his foot on July 14 when he stepped on coral reef in the Solomon Islands.

"Tao was injured while filming 'Laws of the Jungle' at the Solomon Islands when he was hurt by the coral reef on his right foot," said SM Entertainment to OSEN. "He got treatment right away by the on-site doctor. He also had examination and treatment at the transfer point in Singapore, and also again in China."

Despite the foot injury, SM Entertainment revealed that the injury was not severe, and Tao was able to perform with fellow EXO members for their "Lost Planet" concert series in China.

"He performed on stage without overdoing anything," added EXO's record label. "EXO-M has schedules in China on the 28th, but Tao will be coming to Korea to get more treatment."

"Tao will not be attending the Milishuo fan signing in Beijing," tweeted Luhanqt on Twitter. "He will be going back to Korea to get treatment for his leg injury."

"UEE got injured too, and Tao as well?" commented Busan-Boy on allkpop. "This show seems so unsafe."

"Hope he recovers soon," wrote Uchihaklaudia on July 28. "But I knew he would get injured as soon as I read the article saying he would be on 'Law of the Jungle.' He is too sensitive for that. Anyway, recover fast!"

Tao is not the only EXO member to appear on reality television right now.

EXO's Chanyeol is one of the 10 remaining residents for the reality series "Roommate," which has recently lost Park Bom of 2NE1 due to an indefinite hiatus.

"'Roommate' really is quite the flop," wrote ewwbabo on July 20. "Although there are people like Chanyeol and previously Bom, idols no matter how enormous their fandom is, can't bring in high viewership just because they have a lot of fans. The general public must all like a show to give the show good viewership."
