Joining a recent slew idol relationships going public, Girl's Day's Minah has recently confirmed hers through her record label, DreamT.

"Minah told us that she went out with Son Heung Min twice with good feelings," said DreamT. "After maintaining a friendship and encouraging each other as fans through SNS, [Minah] and Son Heung Min started dating with good intentions before he returns to his [soccer] team in Germany."

"Minah is worried that this news going public after their second date and in the midst of them beginning to get to know each other might negatively impact Son Heung Min, who is about to enter a league, and Girl's Day, who are currently promoting. We also sincerely apologize to fans and media for causing misunderstanding due to disorganization within the company caused by the unexpected situation."

The relationship between Minah and soccer player Son Heung Min was revealed when the pair was spotted together on July 16 and July 17.

"Well, I think having it go public so quickly probably puts a nail in any potential dating they may have wanted to do," commented atlkpopfan on allkpop. "It sucks that idols can't even go out on one or two dates now. How do they expect them to gain any real life experience if they only learn about dating second hand?"

Recently, Girls' Generation's Taeyeon and EXO's Baekhyun revealed their relationship of several months, and have since experienced severe backlash from the public.

Reportedly, the relationship has even negatively impacted ticket sales of Baekhyun's musical, "Singin' in the Rain."
