INFINITE Hoya's Ankle Injury Is More Serious Than It Was Thought To Be

On July 29th, INFINITE member Hoya sprained his ankle during an episode of KBS's 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook.'  Earlier news reports stated that Hoya's ankle was not serious, however, more recent reports claim that X-rays revealed that his injury is actually worse than originally thought.

The doctors found out that Hoya pulled a ligament and that his cartilage is infected, according to K-Pop blog Allkpop.  Hoya is going to be wearing a cast for one to two months and the doctor stated that the pop star should take a break and rest his ankle.

During INFINITE's performances on the major music shows last week, Hoya had to stand on the side of the stage due to his ankle injury.

With this latest news, INFINITE is making modifications to their schedule.  The group was scheduled to start their small-theater concert series 'That Summer 2,' on August 7th.

One representative stated, "The other members are working hard to modify the placements for Hoya through last minute rehearsals, but Hoya's always had a strong will, so we have not reached a definite conclusion as of yet."
