Celebrity Jeweler Ben Baller Bashes Kemy Of A.KOR In Response To Park Bom 'Diss Track'

While neither Park Bom or anyone from her record label YG Entertainment have commented on Kemy of the group A.KOR's "diss track," slamming the 2NE1 vocalist, American jeweler Ben Baller is more than happy to pick up the slack.

On August 3, after Kemy's diss track targeting Park Bom was released, Baller took to Twitter on a explicative-filled tirade against the A.KOR rapper.

"If you're old enough to talk sh*t, then you are old enough to get your ass kicked," Baller wrote.

His post to the microblogging site was retweeted nearly 2,000 times.

Baller went as far as to threaten to "set that hoe on fire," and also criticized K-pop publication allkpop for featuring a story on the controversy.

Baller is a Korean-American jewelry designer who has been photographed hanging out with YG artists like G-Dragon of Big Bang and the members of 2NE1. According to The Coveteur, Baller has designed pieces for Michael Jackson, Tom Cruise, Justin Bieber and Dwayne Wade.

Before becoming a jewelry mogul, Baller was a record executive and DJ, with 20 platinum albums to his credit, from artists like Jay-Z and Dr. Dre.  The website Celebrity Networth estimates the jewler's fortune at $15 million.

Some K-pop fans were a bit taken aback by Baller's Twitter tirade, despite his apparent intention to defend Park Bom.

"I'm speechless," reader Vipbjelfsone86 commented on Thursday on allkpop.

"I am a Bom fan so I understand why someone would want to defend her, but he sounds nuts and way out of line. I know people of all ages can troll and diss. Kemy was definitely not right, but he's 40 and threatening 16-year-olds. She shouldn't put out what she can't take herself. However, two wrongs don't make a right."

Shortly after Baller's eyebrow-raising tweets, A.KOR's record label DOO Republic released a statement saying that the group's promotional activities will be stopped after this week, due to the controversy.

"It was only a diss track meant for submission into a rap competition, nothing more and nothing less, which is why we have remained quiet on the topic," the statement read.

"However, as an 18-year-old girl is in great shock over all this, we will finish this week's set schedule and then wrap up promotions."
