Girl group KARA recently made its comeback with a new member, Youngji, and some fans are pointing out the relationship between Youngji and another KARA member.

On the comments section of the "Mamma Mia" music video on YouTube, several fans of KARA pointed out the fact that Youngji and Seungyeon look very similar.

A recent post by Farah Fauzi said "haha! Ive been a fan for so long but young ji and seungyeon looks similar to me...ops." The comment had eight up-votes.

Even prior to the release of KARA's comeback music video, fans had been pointing out the similarities between Youngji and Seungyeon. Comments pointed out that the two looked alike, except for the fact that Youngji is taller than Seungyeon.

When Youngji appeared on the KARA Project, a competition show to pick the next member of KARA, Korean netizens commented on articles, also pointing out the similarities between Youngji and Seungyeon.

Although the two are not identical, the styling in the "Mamma Mia" video makes it hard for new fans of KARA to tell the members apart, and has been leading to some confusion.

KARA made its comeback after two members, Nicole and Jiyoung, left the group in 2014.

This is not the first time that KARA has seen line-up changes. While Nicole, Gyuri, and Seungyeon had been with KARA since its debut in 2007, Jiyoung and Goo Hara had joined KARA in 2008 after original member Sunghee left the group.

Youngji's addition to the group, while difficult due to the difference in ages and experience, has met with mixed feelings. KARA's fans seem to accept the addition, but miss the former members.

KARA released the music video for "Mamma Mia" on August 17, and it has nearly 1.9 million music views a week later.
