Ladies' Code Member Update: RiSe Still In ICU, Sojung Surgery, Ashley & Zuny Receiving Treatment For Severe Shock, EunB Memorial Service

A tragic accident on September 3, which resulted in the passing of EunB, leaves the remaining four members of Ladies' Code in varied conditions.

RiSe, Sojung, Ashley, Zuny, and EunB were traveling to Seoul in bad weather conditions when their car lost a wheel and spun out of control and hit a guard wall. EunB died at the scene, while RiSe and Sojung needed immediate care due to severe injuries. Zuny and Ashley were not majorly injured.

Ladies' Code's entertainment agency, Polaris Entertainment, addressed the current situation: "RiSe's long operation has ended and she's currently under careful observation. The other members are currently hospitalized in Seoul. Sojung underwent an operation for her bone fracture. Ashley and Zuny did not sustain major injuries, but because of the shock and trauma from the accident they are currently undergoing several examinations and treatment."

RiSe incurred head trauma and various other injurues in the accident, and went through three surgeries during a period of nine hours. A fourth surgery was scheduled, but was cancelled after RiSe's blood pressure fell rapidly. One of the world's top trauma surgeons, Dr. Lee Guk Jong, was involved in the surgeries. RiSe is currently in the ICU. It is unknown if she is conscious.

Sojung gained consciousness at the hospital, but required surgery for fracture injuries. Polaris Entertainment revealed that she was not told of EunB's passing, so as to minimize putting her into a state of shock prior to her surgery.

Ashley and Zuny were both treated for minor injuries, and were treated for severe shock.

EunB's family is holding her memorial in Seoul prior to a funeral being held on September 5. Several celebrities have been to the memorial, including Super Junior. Super Junior's members have been involved in major car accidents over the years, and Kim Heechul has taken to Instagram with prayers and entreating people to wear their seatbelts.

'M! Countdown' offered a touching tribute to Ladies' Code on its September 4th show.
