Singer Alex made a public apology for driving under the influence.

Through a press release on July 18, Alex's agency stated, "We apologize for not being able greeting you with good news. First, on behalf of Alex and the agency, we sincerely apologize for inconvienience."

They continued "Alex is self-reflecting his actions, and is feeling much regret." and "To briefly explain the situation, Alex after having a drink with his friends, was returning home around 2AM when he was caught and tested. No one was hurt, the vehicle was not damaged, and there was no accident. After being tested and filing a report, he went home safely."

They continued, "Alex has been in deep self-reflection ever since.. He knew he shouldn't have been driving under the influence especially as a public figure and is really regretting not being careful. As of right now, we are not sure when he will be returning to work. For now, he will be resting to self-reflect."

Lastly, the agency said "To all the fans who really care and love Alex, we are very sorry. We once again apologize for causing much concern."

Alex is said to have recorded a blood alcohol level of 0.134% and was reported to police that he was driving under the influence.
