On July 19 both Seo in Guk and A Pink Jung Eunji's agencies announced, "The two are simply close friends," denying any possibility of them dating.
The rumor began with Eun Ji Won's comments.
On the July 19 broadcast of tvN "Taxi," Eun Ji Won exclaimed, "I smell something fishy starting between Seo In Gook and A Pink Eunji. The two have been playing the role of lovers in the tvN drama, 'Respond 1997,' and I sense something sprouting in reality, as well."

In response, Seo In Gook stated, "At first I didn't have any feelings for Eunji. But as we spent more time together while acting, I felt something else growing." His comment further fanned the flame of possibility that there may be some sort of unspoken relationship.
