2PM Nichkhun will be stopping all activities due to his drunk driving accident.

On July 26, JYP Entertainment announced that Nichkhun will temporarily be stopping all activities.

JYP stated, "Nichkhun has received so much love for the past 5 years since his debut in Korea. He is truly very sorry for his behavior and will be taking time off to reevaluate himself. He will be back soon to meet his fans again."

JYP continued, "We have decided to honor his opinion and he will not be attending the 'JYP Nation' concert nor the JYP 'Fan Day' event."

Regarding his future activities, JYP replied, "We are working on his future activities, and for the ones that we've made a contract with, we are making sure that the companies don't receive any bad reps due to our mistake."

Lastly, JYP commented, "We truly apologize for this incident and we will work hard to make sure this type of situation never happens again."
