g.o.d Will Perform Their 15th Anniversary Concert In New Jersey & Los Angeles

Concert organizer Powerhouse Live has announced two U.S. engagements for legendary Korean pop male group g.o.d.

The shows are billed as g.o.d’s 15th Anniversary Reunion Concerts, with November concert dates scheduled for Los Angeles and New Jersey. The 15th anniversary reunion concerts launched in Seoul on July 12.

g.o.d will kick off their American performances on Friday, November 7 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The group will then perform at the Prudential Center in New Jersey on Sunday, November 9.

g.o.d are contemporaries of first generation K-Pop idol groups like H.O.T and S.E.S. They debuted with JYP Entertainment, in 1999 with the acclaimed track “To My Mother.” "To My Mother" was the first song to be released from their debut album "Chapter 1."

In 2005, g.o.d went on an extended hiatus following the release of "Into the Sky."

In May 2014, g.o.d delivered a solid comeback following a ten-year hiatus from K-Pop with the album "Chapter 8" which included the promotional track “The Lone Duckling.”

The album and reunion concerts include Yoon Kye Sang, who has pursued acting in addition to a music career.

Since their comeback, g.o.d has made numerous variety show appearances, with their music the subject of the second episode of “EXO 90:2014.”

The return of g.o.d could not come at a more appropriate time, as a new generation of K-Pop idols have being turning to the past for inspiration.

Stay tuned for ticketing information the upcoming November performances of g.o.d.
