A JYP official stated, "Nichkhun has come to terms with the motorcycle victim from the accident on July 31. The exact negotiation between the two has not been revealed, but they say that insurance covered most of it. Both sides have agreed to turn in their negotiation to the police. After the additional questioning begins, we will answer truthfully."

Since Nichkhun has made an agreement with the victim, his fine will be lowered. However, he still plans to take a hiatus from the entertainment industry. JYP also stated that he will not be attending the 'JYP NATION' concert as well as stopping his current schedule.

Nichkhun had been involved in a car accident and caught with a DUI on July 24. His blood alcohol content at the time was 0.056%.
