SHINee's member Key shared through his Instagram account that his grandmother recently passed away.

On October 6, Key posted on the photo-sharing app, "Hello to everyone who loves me and my team, this is Key. I don't know how to bring this up but... I could not attend the schedule in Japan on September 24 due to personal reasons. It was that my grandmother passed away on September 23."

He continued, "She was someone who raised me up and loved me and I didn't think it was right for me to just announce it through the agency before such a big event so I am able to say it now."

The SHINee member concluded, "I know that my gandmother watched me do my best and I will give my all for the remaining concerts. I'll see you again with a smile on my face! Thank you."

SHINee and other artists of SM Entertainment performed at the 'SM Town Live World Tour In Tokyo' on October 4 and 5.
