A somewhat pre-modern city bustles with activity of it's daily routine until suddenly a loud booming noise echoes through. Then another boom. Then another. This is the setting that fans of "Attack on Titan" will seemingly get to experience when an all new real life escape game is debuted in both Japan and Singapore. And for the rest of us who are unable to gain access to the world of the titan escape game, here are the latest rumors about the highly anticipated second season of the "Attack on Titan" anime.

Earlier this year, Hajime Isayama reportedly (via Reddit) told a Japanese magazine that, "Volumes 15 and 16 are the most impactful of the series."

It's no wonder then that Wit studio would want to wait until both of those volumes were released before starting to work on the second season of the anime adaptation of "Attack on Titan." Or so that is the speculation from Christian Post, who most recently reports that the season has finally begun production.

This announcement of being in production followed shortly after Volume 15 and 16 were finally confirmed by Kodansha to be released on December 9th and April 15th of 2015 respectively. It makes sense then that Wit Studio would be hard at work to get "Attack on Titan" season two out to fans by late summer next year. Or so fans can hope.

In the meantime, those who are lucky enough to live in Singapore or Japan will get the chance to become a survey corps member in an all new real life "Attack on Titan" escape game. According to Anime News Network, "As in other Real Escape Games, players have to cooperate to solve puzzles to get items and passwords that they need to escape. The scenario has players act as trainees hoping to join the Survey Corps. The graduation event is interrupted when titans attack and break into the citadel, and players have one hour to find the escape route."

While no U.S. cities have been confirmed for the "Attack on Titan" real life escape game, at least there's the possibility that as more overseas cities are confirmed, perhaps the game will come just in time for "Attack on Titan" season two.
