Get That K-Pop Look: Jung Eunji's Airport Fashion

Welcome to this week's Get That K-Pop Look, where we showcase an original K-Pop outfit and give you tips on putting together your own similarly styled, affordable outfit.

This week we're taking a look at Jung Eunji's airport outfit on a recent A Pink trip to Taiwan. We're big fans of K-Pop stars' dedication to looking good when they fly. It's not only an inspiration to all of us for whom fancy flying means breaking out our best yoga pants. It's also a way for Korean stars to show the world that they care about the image they're projecting to fans worldwide.

For us, the best airport fashion are practical enough to be comfortable for what is often uncomfortable travel with just enough added flair to remind us who's the star. Jung Eunji nailed it. We'll show you how you can put together a similar look that could start picking up some frequent flier miles.

SW Mirrored Retro Style Black Frame Sunglasses, $15.95 from Sunglass Warehouse

First rule of stardom: wear sunglasses everywhere. This pair is especially protective because of its lenses. The blue-green reflective mirrors adds a little mystery to an otherwise average pair of sunnies.

¾-Sleeve Striped T-Shirt, $34.90 from Sisi Fashion on YESSTYLE

The relaxed three-quarter tee is classic K-Pop star fashion, and Jung Eunji effortlessly pulls it off here. It's a good staple to have in a closet because of the variety of ways you can wear it. The fit works perfectly with a polished skinny jean, a favorite pair of grungy short shorts, underneath an oversized wool cardigan, or paired with a flowy skirt.

Overalls, $29.95 from H&M

These aren't your grandpa's overalls, so to speak. These are the 2014 K-Pop version of the grungy old work get-up, complete with a stretchy twill material, a black skinny leg, and enough shape to know that there are curves underneath these overalls. This pair from H&M works well either draped like Jung Eunji's or worn buttoned up.

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Sneakers, $45.00 from JCPenney

You can never, ever go wrong with a pair of Chucks. Especially if your day is going to include slipping them off for the TSA and tramping across airports. These are classics for a reason.

Black Twistlock Tote Bag, $49.00 from Dorothy Perkins

The designer tote is another airport fashion necessity. The outside may look pristine, but we all know the inside is a cluttered mess of travel essentials like your passport and other travel documents, loose change, at least five different lip products, your phone and seemingly never-ending phone charger, reading material, and probably some snacks. It's not easy to find a quality piece like this for an affordable price, which is why we recommend snagging this version from Dorothy Perkins ASAP.
