Woollim Entertainment is investigating rumors about one of the members of soon-to-debut Lovelyz.

A post to Woollim Entertainment's official Facebook page on November 9 confirmed that the entertainment agency is looking into malicious rumors being spread about Seo Jisoo, one of the eight members set to debut with Lovelyz. The girl group's first song will be a pre-release on November 10, followed by a showcase and the release of Lovelyz' debut album.

Woollim Entertainment's announcement reads as follows:

This is a notification from Woollim Entertainment.

In regards to false rumors being spread on the Internet about Lovelyz member Seo Jisoo, tomorrow we will begin a formal investigation in regards to the contents and punish the authors and distributors.

Woollim Entertainment will take strong legal action against the rumors being spread prior to the debut of the member. We will update about the legal response.

The investigation will reportedly begin on the tenth due to the fact that the post was shared on social media during the evening in Seoul.

Rumors that began on Twitter about Woollim pre-debut trainee Seo Jisoo ranged from rumors about her sexuality to her joining Woollim Entertainment to seduce members of popular idol group INFINITE, which is one of Woollim Entertainment's acts.

The rumors also included accusations of Seo Jisoo being a bully -iljin- and included screen captures of phone messages that were supposedly of JiSoo insulting Lovelyz members and Woollim Entertainment trainees.

The same day as the announcement, rumors began to spread of a possible leak of Lovelyz debut music video, "Good Night Like Yesterday." One video, set to private, was visible on YouTube prior to the official release.

The official music video was released on midnight October 10 in Seoul.
