After reports surfaced regarding the arrest of Kang Minho (E Sens), further updates revealed that the rapper was able to perform the same night despite the arrest.

On November 5, a drug investigation unit in Gyeonggi Province caught a group of individuals involved in illegally importing and circulating 500 grams of marijuana. According to allkpop, E Sens reportedly paid for the product in bulk and tested positive for marijuana use.

"He was arrested by the police officers stationed at the airport and was investigated," said an acquaintance of E Sens to Dispatch. The rapper was allegedly coming back from working on his album overseas.

"During the police investigation, he admitted to smoking. He acknowledged it on his own. There were no concerns of him fleeing so he wasn't imprisoned." 

After the investigation, E Sens reportedly performed at a club in Gangnam, who had no knowledge of the investigation.

"It was something that was already agreed on long ago," said a representative of the club. "He came at 12 a.m. at the agreed time, performed, and left." 

Five people have been arrested for the drug investigation while three have been detained. Reportedly, one of the arrested communicated with the owner of a website selling marijuana in the US in order to sell the substance in Korea.

This is not the first time E Sens has run into legal trouble related to marijuana. In 2012, the rapper was sentenced to 14 months imprisonment and two-year probation for smoking the illegal substance.

"He already got caught the last time so why is he still doing it," commented gurlsNbois on allkpop. "I'm fine with it if he smokes it like in the States but not in Korea. He knows the law so why must he continue to do this?"
