At D-27, the popular votes for the Golden Disk Awards are reflecting the strong presence of fans from groups such as BTS (Bangtan Boys), EXO, Beast, WINNER, and Super Junior.

Fans have started to come out strong as voting for the 29th Golden Disk Awards has started. As of D-27, there has been a total of more than one million votes.

As of December 17 (D-27), EXO is in the lead for the popular vote in the Album Division for “Overdose.” EXO leads Super Junior with 17.69% of the vote (110,549) versus 14.9% or 93,101 votes for Super Junior.

In the popular vote category for Digital Album, Beast has a lead over Girls’ Generation with 28.99% of votes versus 24.94%.

WINNER faces off against GOT7 in the New Artist Division. Both groups are incredibly close, with WINNER yielding 48.13% of the vote (86,402) versus 48.10% or 86,343 for GOT7.

Super Junior's Leeteuk, Tiffany of Girls' Generation, and Fei of miss A have been confirmed as hosts for the program. 

Voting for the 29th Golden Disk Awards can made through the official app, which is available for download through iOS for Apple users and Google Play for Android phones.

The 29th Golden Disk Awards will be held in mainland China at Beijing’s Mastercard Center from January 14 through 15.
