Girls' Generation member Taeyeon gained attention for a picture of her stomach.

On December 16, Taeyeon shared a picture of her stomach on Instagram. Using fruit peels, Taeyeon made a face with a surprised expression. Fans have commented on the image asking whether it was Taeyeon, and after the singer's confirmation and a short Q&A session, there were some mixed reactions.

"I guess I gained weight. Eat lots of tangerine for vitamins, guys," she said.

Some people commented on how cute Taeyeon's stomach is, while others said that it was weird for someone to share a picture like that on Instagram. Many said that they thought it was cute, but a bit confused about Taeyeon sharing that specific picture, saying that it was a little bit immature.

Some users told Taeyeon that she didn't belong on social media anymore, based on the picture and other pictures that Korean netizens thought were a little bit off-putting.

Girls' Generation recently held their first concert at the Tokyo Dome, where over 50,000 fans were able to see their The Best Live concert. It was the first time Girls' Generation performed a solo concert since former member Jessica exited the group.

The eight member girl group was also voted to be the second most popular K-pop artist in South Korea, according to Gallup Korea.

Girls' Generation will be holding a concert in China on January 4, to make their seventh anniversary since debuting.
