Taiwanese-Korean pop artist Bii recently became a focus of attention for many K-pop fans because his single "Baby Don't" is said to sound very similar to a Korean song from pop band CNBLUE.

Netizens recently pointed out the similarities between "Baby Don't" and a previous release from the Korean group, "I'm Sorry," spawning a fury of negative comments from online users.

Bii's single has now been subject to criticism with many CNBLUE fans from across the world leaving comments on the music video suggesting that it might have been copied, or at least inspired by, the CNBLUE song.

"Baby Don't" is contained in his new album Action Bii.

"I’m a BOICE~but I also like Bii~but…but…sigh..the chorus really is too similar," read one comment. "This is my first time listening to it and I could hum along. So, I’m just that good?"  said another.

Besides the fury of negative comments, netizens have done their research and found out that Bii is a fan of CNBLUE.

One netizen commented, "If you’re a fan of Bii you might know that he’s a fan of CNBLUE as there’s a video somewhere of him covering their songs."

"This song somewhat sounds similar to ‘I’m Sorry’ and another song, ‘My Love for You Won’t Change’ sounds similar to CNBLUE’s ‘Because I Miss You.’ Clearly, a lot of people were able to draw the connections so I can’t help but wonder why he would pull something like this. Even if he did not totally compose both songs, he had to have known they were similar, right?"

Bii defended and explained to the netizens regarding his single and said, "After hearing the song, I agree that there are parts that sound quite similar. As both tracks are in the pop-rock genre with similar tempos, the songs will naturally be close."
