As CNN ranked Psy as the eight on 2012's Most Intriguing People. He shared about his encounter with President Obama during Christmas at the White House.

Psy expressed his meeting with President as "He was like a really cool brother. Really. I was so impressed. I was really nervous and stunned before meeting him, but he has such a great talent to make people feel taken care of."

Psy also made an appearance at the legendary ABC special "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" which received high ratings.
