New York newspaper's reporting of the wish granted by girl group 2NE1 is becoming an issue.

On the 2nd, a New York newspaper reported an emotional story titled 'Patient who got his wish of meeting his favorite band'.

According to the paper 2NE1 met the 27 year old man after performing in the NY Timesquare 'MTV IGGY-2011 Best Rookie Band Concert' which took place on December 31st.

This man named Jonathan is a final stage cancer patient living in 'Conneticut Hospice'.

Upon finding out Jonathan's wish to watch 2NE1 concert, 'Conneticut Hospice' contacted MTV, and MTV invited Jonathan to come meet with 2NE1.

Jonathan was a fan of 2NE1 from the time of their debut and even through his difficult battle against cancer, his determination to watch 2NE1's performance in U.S. was great.

2NE1 was touched by his travel all the way to New York through his sickness. They asked him not to love courage until the end. 2NE1 also took photos with him and gave him a signed city.

Conneticut Hospice stated through the newspaper "We're thankful to MTV and 2NE1 who granted Jonathan's wish and gave him the experienece of life time".
