B2M Entertainment In Talks With CJ E&M For Merger

B2M Entertainment and CJ E&M are discussing a possible merger.

"We are in talks with CJ E&M on multiple angles of a business alliance," B2M agency reps told HeraldPop according to AllKpop. They also confirmed that no contract has been signed yet.

This information comes after previous reports stating the two companies had already settled on a merger. However, B2M revealed that a possible merger with CJ E&M is only one of multiple business partner options they are considering.

B2M is a management agency and music label founded in 2010. B2M manages artists such as Eric Nam, Nicole Jung (formerly Nicole of Kara), girl group SPICA, and SS501 members Kim Kyu Jong and Heo Young Saeng. B2M is also the former agency of Lee Hyori.

CJ E&M is the entertainment and media contents subsidiary of CJ Group. CJ E&M has a multitude of companies already listed under its assets, including FNC Entertainment (known for artists such as CNBLUE, F.T. Island, and AOA), MBK Entertainment (known for artists like SPEED and T-Ara), and Mnet.
