Stardom Entertainment Girl Group EvoL Reportedly Disbands

Following reports of Topp Dogg members Kidoh and Gohn allegedly filing a complaint against Stardom Entertainment, new reports of the disbandment of the company's girl group, EvoL, are gaining momentum.

On August 12, a number of industry officials shared that EvoL was in the process of disbanding as Stardom Entertainment and CEO Cho PD, began to merge with Hunus Entertainment according to a report by Daily Sports. Cho PD is stated to have only taken members Say and Jucy with him during the merger, while the other three members Hayana, Yull, and J-Da, had their contracts terminated.

"We are under the impression that there was no explanation as to why their contracts were terminated," one insider relayed to the press. Additionally, another report by Joy News 24 shared that some Stardom Entertainment trainees may have also had their contracts terminated as well.

An alleged former Stardom Entertainment worker further shared with Joy News 24 that while there were issues of settlement, the company received many complaints for not properly supporting their workers and trainees. "Entertainment is a business done by the people," said the source. "[Cho PD] basically turned his back on employees and artists [during the merger with Hunus Entertainment]."

Meanwhile, Hunus Entertainment took a cautious stance saying, "We are still working out the details of the contracts."

In addition to the supposed issues regarding Topp Dogg and EvoL, Stardom Entertainment has also had previous legal issues with their former group Block B. Back in 2013, Block B requested a contract termination with the company claiming that they had not been given payment from April 2011 until January 2013.
