Super Junior To Release New Album Before Military Enlistment Of Eunhyuk, Donghae And Siwon Later This Fall

Three Super Junior members will say farewell to fans in the next few months, but not before releasing a new album.

Super Junior, an SM Entertainment-produced K-pop boy band, will see the departure of members Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Siwon to fulfill their mandatory military service in October and November. Prior to that, Super Junior will release a new album.

This will be Super Junior's second album of the year, following the release of their tenth anniversary special album, "Devil."

On September 2, Korean news outlets reported that SM Entertainment confirmed a new album from Super Junior prior to the October 13 enlistment date of Eunhyuk.

Donghae will follow two days later on October 14, and Siwon will enlist the next month, on November 19.

Eunhyuk will fulfill his service in active duty, while Siwon and Donghae will be conscripted police officers.

The trio join Super Junior's Sungmin and Shindong, who enlisted earlier this year. They will leave behind Leeteuk, Heechul, Kangin, Yesung, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun.

Super Junior became one of the first K-pop groups to promote while members rotated in and out while fulfilling their duty to their country, rather than going on hiatus.

Ryeowook and Kyuhyun will be the last two members of Super Junior to serve in the Korean military.

Super Junior joins an increasingly crowded fall line-up from SM Entertainment, with girl groups f(x) and Red Velvet also reportedly making comebacks.
