Psy Employs Helicopter To Film 'Happening' Concert

Psy's upcoming solo concert in Seoul, 'Happening,' is said to have a budget of over $3 million. What is all that money going towards? Special effects and creative staging, for one, but now it has been revealed that a helicopter will film the whole thing from the sky.

The event will be one of the largest scale concerts South Korea has ever seen from a solo artist. More than 50,000 people are expected to be in attendance at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Sangnam-dong Seoul on April 13 for 'Happening,' and a helicopter will film the whole scene - not just the show, but the excited atmosphere surrounding the venue as well.

Concert organizers are planning on Psy's blockbuster-scale show to be a truly international event. 'Happening' will not only be broadcast live on TV in South Korea and a few other choice markets in Asia, but also streamed live through YouTube.

Not only is this Psy's biggest show ever in his 13 years since debuting, but producers are anticipating it will be the biggest global cultural event to happen in South Korea since the 2002 World Cup. They say thousands of more fans from around the world are expected to fill the area surrounding the venue on the day of the show, and the helicopter will also serve to capture the excitement of concertgoers as well as the dynamic show itself.
