C-CLOWN Announce Disbandment In Farewell Message On Facebook

Fans of boy group C-Clown were brought some sad news with the announcement of the group's official disbandment.

On October 5, C-Clown's management agency Yedang Entertainment revealed the news on C-Clown's official Facebook page. "Hello. This is Yedang Entertainment. C-Clown, who debuted on July 19, 2012 with 'Solo' will officially be disbanding today, October 5, 2015," the company wrote, translated by Soompi. "We want to thank the six members and all the Crowns [C-Clown's official fan club name] who loved C-Clown's music."

The statement continued, "Please show encouragement and applause to the members who are going back to prepare for a new challenge. Yedang Entertainment will not forget fans' support and will do our best to improve." At the end of their notice Yedang also informed fans that all C-Clown social media pages except for YouTube will become private after a one month grace period.

A report by Herald Corp further revealed that the members of C-Clown will not be leaving Yedang despite the break up. Fans can look forward to seeing some of C-Clown's members in an upcoming new group while others will continue on as producers for the company.

C-Clown member Rome took to his own SNS accounts to thank fans specifically. On Twitter he expressed his gratitude to the fans for always staying by C-Clown's side while on Instagram he uploaded an image of the group with a simple message, "C-Clown #thankyou #crowns."

We're sad to see C-Clown go.
