It might seem unlikely that a pudgy Korean rapper and the richest man in the world share a common goal, but they do.

Bill Gates and Psy are both actively engaged in the international effort to rid the world of polio once and for all.

Bill Gates and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has long been focused on fighting the disease which affects thousands of people around the world each year and Psy has recently become the spokesman for the Rotary's similar efforts.

When Bill Gates saw Psy's advertisement for the "This Close" campaign, he got on Twitter to offer praise for his efforts and the work being done to help the cause.

Sharing a photo of Psy's ad, Gates tweeted, "South Korean aid generosity saves lives. At Nat'l Assembly today - even @psy_oppa is helping w Polio eradication."

Psy then retweeted the message with a smiley face.

Earlier this year, Bill Gates announced on the Colbert Report that within six years time, he expects the terrible disease to finally be eradicated.
