Next month Psy will join rock legends Aerosmith and soulful singer CeeLo Green in Singapore to perform at the Social Star Awards.

On May 23 the three acts, along with girl group Blush, will take to the stage at the Social Star Awards in Singapore.

The SSA's are described by the event's event coordinators as being "the Oscars of social media" and honors the social media's biggest stars.

The winners are chosen based on data from a web app, Starcount, which monitors prominent internet figures and brands on social media. It uses 11 major social media networks to keep track of 1.7 billion all across the globe.

Psy will perform at the inaugural Social Star Awards and will also participate in the Singapore Social Concerts on May 24 and 25 which are held in conjunction with the award program.
