In the midst of his US promotional tour, Psy will attend the White House Foreign Correspondents Dinner April 27 as a guest of CBS News.

The famous Korean rapper will be seated at a table with CBS's Homeland star Claire Danes and her husband Hugh Dancy as well as several noted politicians and diplomats.

This year's dinner will be headlined by late night talk show host Conan O'Brien who also appeared alongside Psy last December at the White House Christmas concert, his last time in the nation's capital.

The visit to Washington DC last year was controversial as many people demanded the "Gangnam Style" singer not be allowed to perform in front of the president Barak Obama following the news of his anti-American lyrics from a song several years before anyone in the US even knew he existed.

Psy publically apologized for his previous comments, and judging by his internet popularity and US record sales, it seems Americans have forgiven him.

At the Saturday evening's Foreign Correspondents Dinner, Psy will have the opportunity to prove that there is more to him than silly music videos and dance moves while rubbing elbows with some of the most influential people in the world.
