GOT7 Close Out 2015 With Dynamic Fan Meeting At The SGKStar Festival In Singapore

Five K-Pop groups staged a total of four shows at Marina Bay Sands Convention over three consecutive days at SGKStar. GOT7, who first visited Singapore earlier this year, were the closing act.

The Korean event SGKStar 2015 in collaboration with event organizer Three Angles Production took K-Pop fans over the moon with the news of the fan meeting.

Category 1 ticket holders were even entitled to an exclusive high touch and photo opportunity with their favorite K-Pop idols.

Deafening screams from fans came on cue as soon as GOT7 came onstage for the first song "Stop Stop It," dressed in all-black outfits, complete with leather jackets.

GOT7 turned on their charms with "Girls Girls Girls," singing, "Girls girls girls they love me" with slick confidence and we are sure their fans absolutely love them. Mark did an effortless flip across the stage, showcasing the elevated performance skills most JYP Entertainment boy groups are capable of.

Games that enable fans to interact with band members are a must-play during fan meetings. In the first game, charades, GOT7 had to act out a phrase for fans and members to guess. With their backs turned while standing in a line, they were not supposed to see what the other team members were acting out, until it's their turn.

Jackson's team had a particularly challenging phrase to act out - "Shopping in boxers in winter." Yugyeom, the last in line, guessed "winter fishing." The first in line, Jackson, had interpreted shopping by raising his arm to swipe a credit card, this movement was later interpreted as fishing as it was passed down the line. Youngjae and JB collapsed in laughter as they watched Jackson re-enact how he acted out this phrase.

After the fun games, the boys were back with a third song, "Just Right," a cheerful song with youthful vibes and cute choreography. GOT7 then continued to charm fans with their latest title track "If You Do."

It was followed by another round of games where winning fans took home autographed posters and had an exclusive photo opportunity with GOT7. They played musical chairs; Jackson and Yugyeom doubled up as the additional MCs for the game, as they were eliminated in the first round.

A heartwarming song for all fans followed the game. "Confession Song," recently released on GOT7's MAD Winter Edition album, was a familiar sing along for fans, even though it had only been released just two weeks before. The crowd sang together with GOT7 in unison during the sweet chorus of "I, love you, baby I, I love you."

GOT7 also sang another melodious tune, "Playground" to soothe the fans with their steady vocals.

An impromptu dance battle ensued as the MCs asked GOT7 to choose their best dancer. GOT7 named Youngjae and Yugyeom. They performed freestyle dance while Jackson did the beat boxing, igniting excited cheers from the audience.

During the song "Magnetic," GOT7 pointed to fans, while singing the lyrics of "Be my girl, girl" and drawing heart shapes with their fingers.

They also performed "Bounce," an energetic, catchy song that was originally performed by JJ Project (project group duo consisting of JB and Jr. before they officially debuted in GOT7). It gave the fans who supported them from the beginning a sense of nostalgia.

After repeated screams of "Encore! Encore!" GOT7 returned to the stage with a remix version of "A."

Bam Bam said, "We GOT7 will always stay with you, IGOT7s!" Before Jackson left the stage, he said, "I promise, I will be back, to play musical chairs!"

We are sure that both GOT7 and their enthusiastic fans will anticipate the next time they come, for another fan meeting or perhaps a full-length concert.
