Psy Gets Everyone Dancing On The TODAY Show [VIDEO]

Psy made an appearance on the "Today Show" May 3 and had not just the audience, but the hosts shaking their tail feathers.

In his first official TV appearance since arriving in the US last week, Psy hit the stage at Rockefeller Center for a lively performance that inspired the Today Show hosts to show off their best dance moves.

Psy performed his latest hit "Gentleman" as well as old favorite "Gangnam Style" for a crowd of fans Friday morning.

The crowd around the stage were dancing and singing along, but they were not the only ones. The Today Show anchors in New York were seen smiling and dancing along, but others showed off their moves via satellite - David Gregory in Washington DC and Al Roker from Kentucky.

David Gregory even donned a pair of sunglasses during his redition of the "Gangnam Style" horse dance.

When Psy saw Matt Lauer's dancing, he remarked, "Wow. That's beautiful!" and suggested Lauer join him later in the program for some dancing together. Lauer, however, seemed a little embarrassed and was rather noncommittal on the matter.

Before performing the latest single, "Gentleman," Psy told the Today Show that they have been key to his success in the US.

"Not because of just 'Gangnam Style,' but because, you know Today Show I did one last September, and right after that I got a lot," Psy admitted. "So once again, thanks again for having me here one more time, Today Show."

Psy went on to discuss the popularity of "Gentleman" with the Today Show anchors. When Lauer pointed out that the video had already succeeded in getting over 260 million YouTube views, Psy gave credit to his fellow countrymen, giving a shout out in his native tongue, "Korea rules!"

He added, "The population of my country is 50 million, so what can I say?"

The dancing continued on the streets of New York as Psy went on to demonstrate the "arrogant dance" move for the hosts, noting that, "You should be arrogant (when doing it)."
