Psy attended the fashion industry's biggest night, the Met Gala, where he met some of the biggest celebrities and fashion icons, including Beyonce.

The Costume Institute Gala, otherwise known as the Met Gala, is an annual A-list ball to celebrate the opening of the fashion exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute and is reportedly the best red carpet even of the year.

For this year's punk-rock themed event, Psy was counted among the celebrities invited to attend.

Long time attendee, Beyonce, was also there and Psy finally had a chance to meet her and talk about his infamous performance of her "Single Ladies" routine.

The Korean rapper tweeted from the Met Gala, "Finally talked to Beyonce about 'Single Ladies' at the #MetGala," insinuating that it had been something he was eager to do for a long time.

The pair also posed for a picture together, which Psy promptly posted to his Twitter account.

To the high-fashion event Psy wore a red and black checked tuxedo jacket over black pants and included his signature bow tie and sunglasses.

Beyonce was wearing an elegant strapless black Givenchy dress with a long orange train.  She accessorized with black gloves and thigh-high boots.
