The father of former A Pink band member Hong Yoo Kyung fired off another shot in the war of words against his daughter's former record label A Cube Entertainment on Tuesday.

Hong Ha Jong, the CEO of steel manufacturer DSR Corporation, has been speaking out on Twitter about what he claims are lies A Cube Entertainment representatives are spreading about his daughter Hong Yoo Kyung's firing last month from the K-pop girl group A Pink.

Yoo Kyung's father's newest round of criticism was provoked by an A Cube statement last week, claiming the singer's departure from A Pink had been agreed to by her parents.

"We've been having many discussions about Hong Yoo Kyung's departure with her parents since March," an A Cube Entertainment rep said on May 3 in a phone interview with the South Korean media outlet Sports Donga.

"We have an agreement written in place with her parents on her departure, and she left with that agreement. We cannot reveal the contents of the agreement, but we would never make her leave without agreement."

Although he remained silent for several days after A Cube's statements, on Tuesday Hong Ha Jong could take it no longer.

Yoo Kyung's father took to Twitter and unleashed a blistering critique of A Cube Entertainment's handling of the whole affair.

"Again, they used the media play about Hong Yoo Kyung having discussed this with her mother," he wrote. "If they had simply apologized and asked us to hold back for the sake of the other A Pink members, we could have...I guess I will have to write about the process that took place in the signing of the negotiation."

Hong claims his daughter paid the ultimate price for fame: giving up her good name to drum up whatever publicity she could for the band.

"Early last year, Hong Yoo Kyung went through much emotional stress due to the 'rich daughter media play' but she endured it for it helped get A Pink's name out there," he tweeted. "They even did media play about how this was a case of her getting what she wanted and abandoning ship."

Last year, the website allkpop and others reported that Hong Yoo Kyung's father was the CEO of a $90 million company, causing some fans to wonder if she bought her way into the pop music industry.

The incident prompted A Cube Entertainment to release a statement defending the Hong Yoo Kyung's talent.

"Hong Hong Yoo Kyung's father does run a successful business," the rep said. "However, like all other artists, she went through the trainee process to become a singer. Beyond that, the company does not know much about her personal life details."

On Tuesday, in light of the ongoing conflict, the statement coming from A Cube Entertainment were not as positive towards the former A Pink singer or her steel magnate dad.

"The company's position is the same as last time when we revealed our official statement," another anonymous A Cube representative said. "There is nothing else to say. It's the truth that [Hong Yoo Kyung] left after settling on an agreement, and we have no intention to bring her back in."
