If you're a fan of periodic dramas, then you might want to check out KBS2's 'Hwarang: The Beginning' when it starts airing this coming December.

In the last 48 hours, new posters have been released to further promote the upcoming show and if you're a fan of flower boys, you would definitely want to check them out. The most recent poster shows the Hwarangs themselves led by series frontrunner Park Seo Joon and includes Park Hyungsik, Do Ji Han, Jo Yoon Woo, SHINee's Minho and BTS's V. The poster itself shows the Hwarangs as a well-dressed group of handsome young men strolling in the woods and being overly smiley and friendly with one another. But don't let their appearance fool you because some of the Hwarangs in the picture are also holding weapons of their own choice which meant that the boys aren't just pretty faces, they can also pack a mean punch too.

The show had also released individual posters of the lead stars beginning with Go Ara who looked ever so bubbly in her poster. Park Seo Joon, on the other hand, was captured with a rather playful look which coincides with his mischievous and free spirited character. The last poster released was of Hyungsik's character, captured with a charming and regal smile, Allkpop reports.

According to Soompi, a behind-the-scenes video had also been released where you can watch the lead actors give a brief introduction to their characters.

Set about 1500 years ago, you've probably watched a lot of period dramas set in the Silla Dynasty and involving the Hwarangs like the ever so popular Queen Seon Duk. However, Hwarang: The Beginning will be the first drama to center on the Hwarangs themselves. The series stars Park Seo Joon (She Was Pretty) as a warrior who joins the Hwarangs through an event and Go Ara (Answer Me 1994) who plays his love interest. Park Hyungsik (High Society) will play Seo Joon's rival who is actually a royal-in-disguise.
