Psy Recalls His Famous Fans From Obama To Madonna: 'She Was Drunk' King Of K-Pop Says About The Material Girl

Psy's international smash "Gangnam Style" didn't just earn him 1.5 billion YouTube views, it also earned him some A-list fans including President Barack Obama and pop diva Madonna.

Psy opened up about his famous followers to Australian radio show hosts Kyle and Jackie O, the Belfast Telegraph reported on Sunday.

"Last time I visited him, he told me at the time, you know, he's really good at it," Psy said of President Obama's horse dance. "I asked him to do it, but the secret service wouldn't let him."

Madonna apparently wasn't as retrained as the commander in chief.

"What she told me was, 'I heard your new song, how can you do that one more time?'" Psy recalled of his meeting with the Material Girl last week at an art opening at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Dressed in a brunette bob wig in honor of the MET's Costume Institute exhibition entitled "PUNK: Chaos to Couture," Madonna gave Psy a compliment either too private or too X-rated for radio.

"She said something I can't [repeat] and I was like, 'Oh my god, really? That means a lot,'" Psy recalled. "And she said, 'No, I'm drunk!'"

The King of K-pop also discussed his plans to possibly collaborate with his manager Scooter Braun's number one client, teen idol Justin Bieber, an idea he gets asked about frequently.

"I get that a lot since my debut in US," Psy said. "Of course I want to. He's the coolest person on the planet. As a composer, I'm not predicting any featuring artist before making tracks. If some tracks are really suitable, I'm going to ask him."

Psy's "Gangnam Style" follow-up clip "Gentleman" has received over 320 million YouTube views since being released a month ago.

Last week, he discussed his plans to return to the studio as soon as he returns to Korea with the website Saturday Night Online Live with Romeo.

"After [completing] 'Gentleman' promotions, I'm planning on making a new album," Psy said. "It will be the seventh album in Korea, and my debut album in America. I'm hoping for a summer season release."

He said he would be asking musicians from wherever he felt like to play on his first U.S. album.

"A great number of musicians will be participating in the album, and when I think of someone after listening to the tracks, I will be working with them," Psy said.
