The best Korean female rappers Yoon Mi-Rae sings the OST of 'Legend of the Blue Sea'

Yoon Mi-Rae sings the second part of "Legend of the Blue Sea" OST. The song gives a sad feeling to the drama, despite some comedy acts.

Yoon sings the song written by Lee Yoo-Jin and Han Joo titled "A World That is You" to accompany the top-rated drama. According to an official release from SBS, the song explained the feeling of the mermaid toward Joon-Jae in the present time and Dam-Ryung in Joseon time.

Seoul Daily News reported that Yoon released the song on Thursday, November 24, The release date coincided with the airing of "Legend of the Blue Sea" Episode 4. The song was a romantic one with the melody of acoustic guitar played throughout, combined with pop and R&B color.

The 35-year old singer, whose real name is Natasha Shanta Reid, was born of an African-American father and Korean mother in Fort Hood, Texas. She moved to Korea when she was just a little girl. Her father's job as a radio DJ for the U.S. military who served in Korea nurtured her love for music.

The song is part of the new OST project of the Korean-American singer, which initiated with the "Lovers in Prague" in 2005. She also sang the OST for acclaimed drama "It's OK, It's Love" in 2013 and the OST of the world famous "Descendants of the Sun" with her song "Always."

She began her career with a hip-hop group Uptown in 1997 when she was a teenager. The group disbanded three years later, and Yoon started her solo career in 2001.

Dubbed as the best Korean female rapper, Yoon released several solo albums before forming a hip-hop group MFBTY (My Fans Better Than Yours) in 2013. She is a good singer and managed under the Jungle Entertainment Agency, founded by her husband Tiger JK, whose real name is Seo Jung-Kwon.
