Seo In Guk, a South Korean singer and actor, proved his impressive talents in both fields. Of course, each of those endeavors produced different results, which would ultimately prompt Seo in Guk to choose between the two for his career.

In his pictorial and interview for "Instyle" as reported by Allkpop, Seo in Guk clearly mentioned that his love for singing and acting are equally important. He knows that he's been better known as an actor than a singer, despite his affection for both singing and acting. 

Seo In Guk had these to say when asked to choose between singing and acting:

"It is a confusing question so I organized my thoughts... I am ambidextrous so if I am asked to choose between being a singer and actor, it's like as if you're asking me not to use one hand. I think the correct answer is to work hard and improve both sides equally."

Both acting and singing are precious to Seo In Guk, and he carries with him his computer wherever he goes to make music when he's not filming on set.

It's because of Seo In Guk's acting career that led him to havelong gaps between his solo releases. The timing, though, worked out that way, as he said in the following:

"If I release an album while I'm currently working on a drama or film production, then that's inconveniencing the production. I want to show myself solely through the drama when I'm working on one, and vice versa, I want to show myself through an album when I release one." 

After winning the talent reality show Superstar K in 2009, Seo In Guk launched his singing career. Later he pursued his career in acting and was well known for his dramas, "Reply 1997," "High School King of Savvy," and "38 Revenue Collection Unit." The recently-concluded "Shopping King Louis" features him as a main character.

Soon, Seo In Guk will join the ranks of other hallyu stars who will enter military service. Nonetheless, he said that he still has a lot of things he needs to complete before he goes.
