“Solomon’s Perjury” is the drama adapted from a Japanese novel written by Miyuki Miyabe, which has since been adapted into movies. The movies “Solomon's Perjury Part 1: Suspicion” and its sequel “Solomon's Perjury Part 2: Judgement” were released in March and April 2015 respectively.

JTBC has interviewed the original author Miyabe and asking her opinion with the Korean adaption. After watching the drama, Miyabe acknowledged that the scriptwriter has successfully adapted the drama very well to maintain the suspense and high pace intensity. Meanwhile Seoul Daily News also praised the trailer as appealing.

The story of “Solomon’s Perjury” took place in an elite high school in Seoul, when a male student was found murdered in the winter break. The police quickly launched their investigation. Meanwhile, the students are restless with the murder case and they feel uneasy towards one another, as suspicions arose among the students.

Talented teenage actress Kim Hyun-Soo is cast as the lead female character. She was known to play the young version of Jun Ji-Hyun in “My Love from the Star.” She is accompanied by two young actors, who are her seniors, Jang Dong-Yoon and Seo Ji-Hoon.

The three of them will engage in an investigation to find the murderer of their friends and to clear their name as suspects. Watch the preview of the drama from JTBC Drama channel below:
