2ne1 was definitely one of the top girl groups as they have achieved their last number one spot even after their sad disbandment.

According to Allkpop, the disbanded girl group was not forgotten as they reached the first spot on Billboard's 'World Digital Song Sales' chart. It topped the February 11 chart.

SBS has reported that 2NE1's last number one hit on the same chart was their song "I Am The Best". The song was released back in 2011 and that was how long it has been. 2NE1 has been inactive for more than a year because of Park Bom's 'scandal'. It has been really long before the announcement of their disbandment.

Moreover, member Minzy left the group months before the devastating news of their disbandment. Though it was only the three members, CL, Dara and Bom, who sang "Goodbye", it looks like 2NE1 fans are really thirsty for a new song as it topped the chart.

Also, the music video has now almost 10 million views, proving that there are still many people hoping for 2ne1. The music video is simply the memories that the 2NE1 members had with each other while they were promoting. It still has Minzy in it.

On other news, Bom is still going to continue release songs as a solo artist. Minzy will do the same and will even try her luck in variety shows. Meanwhile, Dara and CL will continue their journey in YG Entertainment and will release more songs and albums as solo artists too.

Sadly, fans are still hoping that 2ne1 and YG Entertainment will retrieve the news. Fans might just have to wait for five to 20 years and hope for a reunion of their favourite girl group, 2ne1.
