Drama Review Corner: First Impression ‘Tomorrow With You’

Have you ever wanted to travel to the future? Yoo So Joon has the incredible ability to do just that through a magical subway. With that power, So Joon has become a CEO of a 200 billion won realtor company. He lives a rather lonely life however until he witnesses his own death, but something is off because someone dies at the exact same time and same hospital as him in the same circumstances.

Song Ma Rin is a washed up child star who only wants to become a successful photographer. Ma Rin has a ton of optimism and is extremely outgoing, which tends to be seen as annoying by others. As she's walking, So Joon suddenly approaches and whisks her out of the way of danger. So Joon then realizes that he must marry her in order to save his own life despite the fact that he doesn't love her. This romantic melodrama follows the chaos of newlyweds who can't stand each other in a hysterical new drama!

This drama is absolutely terrific! I had watched the trailers quite a bit and was truly anticipating the drama itself and it delivered. While the official synopsis seems quite misleading for the first two episodes, the dynamic is truly amazing between the two leads. So Joon is living a cushy life without a care in the world and Ma Rin just wants to escape from fame while struggling with horrid reporters. The cast is seriously funny and while for the most part it's more melodramatic, it's definitely a great replacement for 'Goblin'. It mixes a little bit of magic, with some weird fate that reminds me a lot of 'Goblin', yet it also feels incredibly realistic. I predict the drama will be a big hit with it's amazing chemistry between actors, the acting, as well as the amazing story between two people who should never have met in the first place!

It's a 10/10, I highly recommend this drama and the story is just gorgeous!
