Former 2NE1 Member Park Bom Thinks She Is Still A YG Entertainment Artist

Former 2NE1 member Park Bom looks like she is thinking that she is still a YG Entertainment artist. "I did??? kkk I left YG??" was reportedly Park Bom's response in a tweet to a fan who apparently asked her last Feb. 20 if she was happy after she left YG.

According to Allkpop, her answer is confusing many fans. Allegedly, YG Entertainment officially announced back in November the disbandment of 2NE1, and stated that they have renewed the contracts of CL and Dara only. It was clearly specified that the agency decided not to renew the contract of Park Bom. "Unfortunately, we officially announce that Park Bom did not have a renewal." YG Entertainment stated.

As reported by PopCrush, 2NE1's disbandment in 2016 caused an immediate pointing of fingers among fans looking for someone to blame. Apparently, according to YG Entertainment the reason is Park Bom. Allegedly, in an interview with Yonhap News, YG spoke about the agency's member's infamous act and the agency plans for 2017, as well as the sudden disbandment of 2NE1. Accordingly, the interview has garnered a strong adverse reaction from fans around the world.

It was further stated in the interview that what led to the decision to disband the group was the state of Park Bom's mental health. For those unfamiliar with the situation, news first appeared in 2014 that a shipment of amphetamines from the United States sent to Park Bom, was stopped at customs in 2010. The drug is considered illegal in South Korea, but legal in America.

Accordingly, after the incident the criticisms YG received were endless. The agency further said that considerin the stress and guilt from the scandal, YG still felt that Park Bom still have a strong determination to continue 2NE1. She was allegedly told by the agency that 2NE1 is important, but the agency wish that she be healthy, both mentally and physically.
