BIG BANG News: Daesung Drops 'D-Day' MV For Japanese Mini Album; 'D-Day' Release Slated For April 12

D-Lite is finally back. BIG BANG member Daesung has finally dropped the fresh and fun MV for the title track of his mini album "D-Day" and its filled with everything the Japanese fans love about the BIG BANG member.

While BIG BANG is on a temporary break following T.O.P's mandatory enlistment, the remaining members have been keeping themselves busy with their solo endeavors. G-Dragon and Taeyang are expected to complete their solo albums early this year but Daesung, who is more popularly known as D-Lite to his fans in Japan, is way ahead of his two bros and is making waves in the J-pop scene with his much anticipated solo mini album.

According to a report by SBS Pop Asia, the "D-Day" MV depicts a cute love story between Daesung and a girl who likes him. The song in itself has an upbeat rock vibe that has fun and youthful elements of a wholesome music video --  bunnies, a toy train, a beautiful girl, an adorable Daesung being his usual charming self, plus his marvelous vocals.

A report by K-pop Amino provided additional information on the availability of the album which is April 12 and April 11th in the West. The song is expected to feature seven tracks but may have three separate versions, along with DVDs and other related merchandise.

The good news for fans is that "D-Day" is just a sample of everything good that can come out of the album because Daesung is working with heavyweights like Motohiro Hata, Ayaka, and Yoshiki Mizuno who wrote songs in the album specifically for Daesung. Daesung will also be appearing in a series of concerts in Japan this April. He will be performing at the Seibu Prince Dome on April 15 and 16 and at the Kyocera Dome on April 22 and 23.
