These K-Pop MVs Have The Most Culture Appropriated Content

K-Pop artists have been in some hot water lately due to international fans calling them out for their cultural appropriation. Whether it was for a stage concept, MV or dance routine, these K-Pop groups and artists were all guilty of culture appropriation one way or another. Check out who did in the list down below.

G-Dragon - "Michi Go"

G-Dragon has an unfortunate history with upsetting black fans due to his at times racist posts and culture appropriation found in his MVs. "Michi Go" is just one of them. Fans were upset by his manny offensive hairstyles.

4Minute - "Crazy"

4Minute literally drove fans "Crazy" with their Hip Hop concept. Imitating Latina and African American culture, the girls are all 'thugged out' as the rock bucket hats, grills and twerk in their MV.

Jay Park - "MOMMAE"

Jay Park was nothing but swag in his MV for "MOMMAE" but fans noticed he almost appeared like a cop out as he purely imitated cliche rap videos you'd find in the U.S.A. Everything about the MV had fans cringing.

CL - "The Baddest Female"

CL's "Baddest Female" was another no-no from the public. Unfortunately, her song contained too much gang imagery due to people covering their faces with masks, bandanas and her rocking braids and twerking on the streets.

T-ara "Ya Ya Ya"

T-ara's concept might have seemed fun and charming, but the girl group definitely stepped on some toes with their "Ya Ya Ya" release. The MV depicts the girls as Native Americans dancing around a fire and a cute boy they captured. They even wear headdresses on stage during their lives.

Zico - "Tough Cookie"

Zico did everything that could make a fan upset in his MV for "Tough Cookie." With guys circling on their bikes with grills, long gold chains, braids, gang masks, throwing up signs and even demeaning women and sexuality, "Tough Cookie" was one for the books.

HyunA - "Red"

HyunA's "Red" also showcases some cultural appropriation as she can be seen donning some ancient Egyptian attire and using it to enhance her sex appeal rather than what it is meant for.

Pritz

Pritz shocked fans left and right with their debut for "SoraSora" due to their military school girl uniforms that featured an arm badge similar to Hitler's swastika. Why, girls... why?

What do you think of this eye-opening list? Are there any other K-Pop MVs you can think of that misuse culture? Share the videos down below!
