Jun, the rapper of U-KISS, has maintained a really busy schedule in the year of 2017. Not only has he been gearing up for the year-end promotions with his fellow group members, but he has also been preoccupied filming for his recent drama 'The Avenger's Social Club.' Although he is quite the charming dol, fans were surprised to hear about how and why he was given the part!

On September 27th, an official press announcement was held at the Imperial Palace in Gangnam, Seoul where TvN's Drama Director Kwon Suk Jang had met with fans to discuss some exciting details about the drama and the idols involved. During the interview, the director stated he choose Jun of U-Kiss "because of his shady face," which left fans interested.

Kwon Suk Jang said, "I think it is a stereotype that idol singers seem to make a lot of effort to create a cheerful feeling of always being bright and healthy. However, Jun was naturally darker in his appearance and features." It seems this shady feature isn't the kind of shade international fans were thinking of!

He continued saying, "There was something sad in his expression. That was charming for the character. Jun seemed to be able to fit the character casually without any unnecessary training. It is also one of the reasons why he has also worked well in understanding his role. At the time of auditioning, of course, there was a bad part because he had not been trained for a long time but I still wanted to cast him."  Are you anticipating Jun's new drama concept and appearance?
