MOMOLAND Shares Teaser Photos for New Japanese Album

The K-Pop girl group revealed both group and individual concept images for their next comeback. In the pictures, the members can be seen dressed in plastic skirts and are wearing butterfly-covered boots. Also, the girls are clothed in white tops printed with fruits; each member has one fruit on their crop tops like watermelon, cherry, strawberry, peach, blueberry, and orange.

In addition, the individual photos of MOMOLAND members showcase their natural cuteness, complemented with their make-up and hair accessories that match the fruits they represent. However, there are only six members who are in the group photo, and also there are only six individual photos. By the looks of it, it appears to be that three other members, specifically Daisy, Yeonwoo, and Taeha, will not be taking part in this upcoming album, which gave disappointments to many fans.

Since March 14 of this year, 2019, Daisy and Taeha has been announced not to be participating in MOMOLAND's album "Show Me," which was launched on March 20, as well as to the group's promotions because the two members need to take a rest due to their health and personal issues. It is reported that they will rejoin the group in the next album following "Show Me." But aside from that, fans speculate that Daisy is pulled out from promoting with the group as a consequence of her dating scandal with iKON's Yunhyeong.

For member Yeonwoo, on the other hand, it has been recently reported that the reason why she is not very active with group activities for the past months is that she is filming a drama. Yeonwoo's agency, MLD Entertainment, made this announcement following the rumors that the idol is going to leave the group.

Meanwhile, "Chiri Chiri" is MOMOLAND's first Japanese album which is scheduled to be released on September 4. It is reported to be consists of more Japanese versions of their Korean songs, which includes their latest song "I'm So Hot." The group's previous Japanese singles are the Japanese versions of their famous tracks "Bboom Bboom" and "BAAM." The Japanese rendition of "Bboom Bboom" is the debut single of the group in Japan under King Records, which took place on June 13, 2018.
