Following the awards achieved by the staff, directors, and casts of the 2019's most successful Korean movie "Parasite" domestically and internationally, especially from 2020's Oscars, several celebrities are sending their warm messages to celebrate this historic event, as well as the Korean President!

On the 9th of February, "Parasite" dominated the prestigious Academy Awarding Ceremony after bagging some of the highest awards including the "Best Picture," making them set a record as the first Korean and foreign movie that was able to receive and won the prize over western films, after many years throughout the 92 years. Also, the film got the award as well for "Best International Feature Film" and "Best Original Play."

In addition to this, the Korean Director, Bong Joon Ho, brings home the bacon as well as the "Best Director" of the night, marking his name in the international film industry. 

After carving this history at Oscars, Korean celebrities and idols celebrate with them through their posts and messages that were uploaded through their social media accounts. 

On the 10th of February, BTS sent their messages through the group's official Twitter account, saying, "To Director Bong Joon Ho, I truly and sincerely congratulate you." 

Also, a message from BTS V to his friend was posted and added," I saw you crying, Woo Shik."

Furthermore, EXO Suho low-key hyped up as well as he posted a photo of Director Bong Joon Ho holding Oscars' trophy on his IG story, with a caption "parasite!!!!!!!!", the same with Girls' Generation's Tiffany who posted the director's photo as well and wrote, "Congratulations."

Moreover, Korean idols such as Girls' Day Hyeri and Minah, Eric Nam, Day6 Jae, VIXX Ravi, Lee Hi, Girl's Generation Sooyoung, Jeon Somi, Han Sun Hwa, also sent their congratulations and celebrated with the "Parasite" staffs through their Twitter and Instagram accounts. 

MAMAMOO's Solar even posted in her Youtube community talking about how proud she is and about the goosebumps she felt as "Parasite" received the awards. She also encourages everyone to support Korean movie, saying, 

"I am hoping that more people around the globe will be able to appreciate Korean movies and anticipate to the films that will be released."

Korean celebrities such as Gong Hyo Jin, Go Kyung Pyo sent their messages too, while Park Seo Jun even teased Choi Woo Sik, who was friends with him together with BTS V saying, "Seriously, I did saw you tearing up." It was noted that Park Seo Jun had made a cameo in the same film as well, and his appearance was short but significant. 

On top of that, the President of Korea Moon Jae In has sent their regards through an official long post, congratulating the team and assuring that the national officials will be supporting Korean films more.

"Parasite" has been waking International film viewers' eyes to support Korean films and other Asian films as well, that can also match up with the Western movies.
