CIX Bae Jin Young's Agency Shares Judge's Verdict towards Bashers Online
CIX Bae Jin Young's agency shared what the judge's verdict towards malicious comments of bashers online. In a press release done by C9 Entertainment on March 3, they have announced that they have formally filed a case against defamation, insults, sexual harassment thrown towards their talent, Bae Jin-young.
They have elaborated that it was on the 8th of January of this year that concluded that an agreed fine for such cases shall be imposed. They have even reiterated that continuous monitoring of those malicious commenters online shall be kept an eye onto.
The statement says:
"Hello, this is C9 Entertainment.
Our agency has filed charges against malicious commenters for defamation, sexual aggravation, cursing, and so on. On the 8th of January the Seoul Eastern District Court ruled that those responsible for such malicious comments would be fined.
Moving forward, we will carry on with our monitoring of comments to ensure that, in the event of a related incident, we can respond strongly and speedily.
Thank you."
It was remembered that later in 2019, C9 Entertainment expressed their decision to take legal actions to those who have spread malicious rumors of their CIX member Bae Jin Young in one of the live broadcast of Naver.
It was on the 14th of December wherein his co-members' BX and Hyunsuk took a live broadcast on V live while in Bangkok, Thailand for a performance. He was asked about where he was going and answered, "to see my girlfriend". Eventually, he explained that he met Minhyun rather than a girlfriend.
Although he corrected his words, the malicious rumors against him spread and this greatly affected the image of Bae Jin Young and the entire CIX. C9 Entertainment agency issued their press release that they will be taking legal actions. Nonetheless, they also re-assured the audience that the inappropriate words uttered by CIX Bae Jin-Young is regretted and would be careful of his actions next time.
Due to this, Daum and Naver disabled their comment sections for entertainment articles. Although it is true that k-pop idols like CIX Bae Jin Young normally receive love and support from fans, they are too prone to bashing online regardless of how tiny the error might have been done by them. This means they should take extra care of their actions as eyes are closely watching on them. Nevertheless, it is the price of stardom that they somehow need to experience.
